Project Introduction

BM CHINA is a leading large-scale exhibition in Asia, focusing on construction, mining, and engineering machinery, attracting global equipment buyers, distributors, engineering contractors, and industry technical personnel. Ruilong Machinery is a professional OEM manufacturer specializing in excavator track plates and track shoes. They participated in this exhibition to showcase their hardware components and expand overseas partnerships. Therefore, the client requires more than basic partition walls: open, sturdy display racks are needed to place actual track system product samples, while creating a visually striking brand image that aligns with their corporate VI (black and engineering yellow). Additionally, a front reception desk, multiple independent discussion sets, and VIP lounge area are essential for in-person business negotiations. The load-bearing capacity of all heavy-duty display stands, compliance with venue regulations for large image panels and circuits, and completion within the tight exhibition setup schedule are all critical.

Project Highlights

First, physical track shoe samples are heavy metal components, requiring reinforced structural treatment for product display racks to withstand long-term static loads. Second, the design features sharp angular geometric forms, with precise cutting and seamless on-site splicing required for each decorative edge panel. Furthermore, within the limited 48-square-meter space, it is necessary to clearly distinguish the reception area, physical product display zone, open discussion area, and private VIP lounge while maintaining smooth, wide circulation paths for high visitor traffic. Additionally, multiple large-scale brand image modules require pre-fabrication and portability to fit container dimensions, facilitating rapid on-site assembly. Finally, brand lighting, large-screen playback, and highlight fixtures for exhibits must be coordinated and debugged within a limited on-site timeframe.

Solution and Implementation Process

Firstly, our design team conducted in-depth research on Ruilong Machinery’s brand positioning and the BM CHINA exhibition venue. We developed a core design theme of “Power and Precision,” utilizing sharp geometric lines and the brand’s signature black and engineering yellow color scheme. Subsequently, we created multiple sets of 3D spatial renderings and finalized the exhibition stand layout after several rounds of feedback and revisions with the client. The 48-square-meter booth was divided into four functional zones: a front brand image and reception area, a central physical product display zone, an open discussion area, and a rear private VIP lounge.

Additionally, our engineering team reinforced the load-bearing capacity of all product display racks to accommodate the heavy metal track shoe exhibits. We selected scratch-resistant, durable panel materials suitable for industrial exhibition environments and strategically positioned spotlights to highlight the texture of metal products. Immediately following the design approval, all geometric frames, reinforced display stands, brand image panels, and identification signage were manufactured in PHILFLY’s production facility. Our team conducted structural load testing, surface finish inspections, and pre-assembly checks. After full quality confirmation, all modular components were securely packaged and shipped to the Shanghai Expo Exhibition Center.

Upon arrival at the venue, our professional exhibition construction team executed the installation process step-by-step. This included erecting the primary geometric booth frame, installing reinforced display racks, mounting large-format brand image panels, setting up the reception desk and discussion furniture, and completing the coordinated operation of lighting and multimedia systems. Throughout the construction phase, our dedicated project manager maintained real-time communication with both the client and venue management. In the event of minor on-site adjustments to display arrangements or brand visuals, our team provided rapid, compliant solutions.

Project Outcomes

Ultimately, the custom Ruilong Machinery exhibition stand passed all venue safety inspections and was fully prepared before the opening of BM CHINA. The sharp geometric design, featuring black and yellow branding, stood out prominently among numerous engineering exhibitors. The reinforced display racks safely showcased various actual track plate and track shoe samples, allowing industry visitors to directly examine the hardware quality. The open discussion areas and private VIP lounge facilitated numerous in-depth business discussions with distributors and global procurement guests. The entire exhibition stand successfully enhanced Ruilong Machinery’s international brand visibility during this key industry event.
